Dr. Joseph Edwin Kanu is a distinguished alumnus of Albert Academy and served as Head Boy of the Class of 2002.
He is a Sierra Leonean military medical officer, consultant physician, gastroenterologist, hepatologist, and digestive endoscopist. He serves at the 34 Military Hospital and lectures at the College of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences, University of Sierra Leone. With specialist expertise in internal medicine, digestive and liver diseases, and endoscopic procedures, Dr. Kanu contributes to medical education and the delivery of specialist healthcare in Sierra Leone.
